Crystals were especially important to Ancient society and were central to their use of magic, as well as the storage and utilization of "concepts"
Many of the lifeforms created by Ancients still roam Eorzea this day. The Dermogenys and Furcacauda here are known examples.
Our recreation of the natural world as the Ancients may had known it includes the color-changing Elpis bloom, as well as a few examples of the myriad shark-like "concepts" that existed
Several examples of exist of combat-oriented garments. The masks remain a part of even these battle costumes, showcasing the culture's dedication to concealing one's individual identity.
These crystals each represent a member of the "Convocation." The members assumed the role of their station fully, trading even their names for their title and usually served in that capacity for life.
While in our lounge, say hello to Amby! Although these axolotl efts aren't native to the Twelveswood, this one seems to feel quite at home among our artifacts.
